Oto Wants Your Edamame! is a 6" x 10" paper pieced quilt block pattern, and is the first in a series of portraits.

Oto is a Scottish Fold kitty living in Tokyo, Japan. I designed his pattern for Ayumi Mills who was living in California, to help cheer her up when she’s feeling homesick. Oto lives with her parents and she said that he absolutely loves edamame soybeans, and won’t hesitate to steal them right off your plate!

This 7 page PDF e-pattern comes complete with full instructions, an extra flipped version of the pattern, and even a pointy ears version so you can create a whole dining room full of cats!

Although there are a few compound sections to this pattern, the piecing is pretty straight forward and a determined novice should be able to figure it out.
